Q:i think you're my hero. are you in any part korean? curious, as you lived there, and as i am. i'm going to go the anonymous route because i'm scared this question will show publicly.
Your hero you say? Well, dear anon, I am flattered!
I’m not part Korean, though I did live there for four years and LOVED IT! I totally want to go on a ddokpokee eating rampage followed by some noraebang singing debauchery right now
Q:I'm studying to be a nurse - your 'All Things Anatomy' section...just, can I just love you? It's so perfect.
Ah thanks so much! Science and art make such an intriguing combo :)
Q:You have my favorite art blog. I reblog you a lot on my secondary blog lol without you, it would be very soulless. And I wish my amp went to 11 too.
wow, usually I have some witty smart-ass reply but this time all I have is humble thanks. You made my day :)
thank you

Now this is my style.
This is one of those posts where I’ll be sad if it doesn’t get featured, I don’t care in what, but any time I see art + science I get so excited.

Q:I'm preparing for med school myself. Any advice?
Work hard. Don’t give up. Kiss your social life goodbye (open mouthed, because it might be a while). Remember to breathe.
do you actually see the eclipse ?. i got all amped to watch it , and tried to outwait the cloud cover for a few hours only to realize later that it wasn’t really visible on the east coast . sad face . i love astronomy and stuff like that . hahaha
Yes I did! My friend brought a pair of welder’s goggles for me to our research meeting earlier that day or I would have missed it (thanks Mike). There wasn’t a cloud in the sky (I’m in southern California) and I sat on the grass under a tree in my front yard. It was wonderful.
Q:No, I meant posts about your personal life, like when you post about travelling and school and stuff like that. I like reading those. :P Am I being a creepy anon?
Oooooh I see. I don’t really post too much about my personal life. I have several posts about cadaver dissection, which are all tagged #cadaver #dissection. Speaking of which, I’ve been meaning to post one this week but I’ve been crazy busy. Need to get on that.
Q:Love your blog. Keep up the awesomeness! You curate some really neat-o stuff. :) Rock and roll.
thanks!

Q:Aw. Hope you are having good anon messages. Not all anons are jerks, some are nice but shy people. You have an awesome blog, and I can only imagine a rather interesting and fulfilling life, from the post you make about school and our travels. Really amazing to read it. Do you have a tag for posts like these, you post amazing stuff but it's also great to know the person behind the blog.
Well let me first start by saying thank you for the kind words.
The reason why I had turned anon off earlier was not because I was getting mean messages. In fact, I haven’t received a single mean message since I started this blog. It’s just that some asked really personal questions and others would make sexual comments that I got tired of hearing after a while. But so far the messages I’ve been getting have been so nice. It’s a shame that people feel embarrassed to say nice things out in the open. But if they feel more comfortable then so be it.
Now when you say “a tag for posts like these,” do you mean for anon replies? If so, I’ve been very inconsistent with tagging replies but I can fix that.
Q:No question, just a statement. Incredibly interesting posts. I truly enjoy them.
thank you sir
