Archery Gpoy When I lived in Jeju-do, South Korea my martial arts master also trained me in eastern-style archery (I use a 43 pound bow). I eventually became a member of the Korean Archers Association. In order to become a member, you have to hit the targets (bottom photo) from about 150 meters away 5 times…while a ton of people watch you. No pressure or anything.  *correction: you have to hit it once, then when you hit 5 in a row you become similar to a first degree black belt. Next rank is when you hit 10 in a row etc. Sorry it’s been a couple of years. The most I’ve ever hit in a row was 4 then I moved back to the states :(

Thank you! Gah I hate narrowing down to favorites. Rothko maybe? I’m not an artist. I loved drawing when I was younger, but I also did choir and theater my whole life and when I got to high school I had to get rid of one of those. I do like drawing and (recently) painting though. Here’s a photo of me and the cherry blossom tree I painted freehand in my bedroom last summer:
